The Photography and Post Production Studio simon+kim founded by the Swiss photographer Simon Bolzern and the former Art Director Kim Sokola over a spontaneous beer in 2011. Since the foundation they worked among others for renowned advertising agencies such as Young & Advico Rubican, Spinas Civil Voices, Wirz/BBDO, Publicis, ARD Switzerland, Serviceplan or TBWA/Zurich. Customers such as Nestlé, WWF, Unilever, IKEA, Salvation Army Switzerland, SBB Railway, Stöckli Outdoor Sports or Odlo International relied on their uncomplicated and professional conversion capabilities. simon+kims speciality is the implementation of sophisticated image concepts in the fields of advertising, people, landscapes, food and Editorial. The studio is located in Lucerne and the two work there where the job requires them to.

Simon Bolzern

undertook when he already try the first photographic early age, has never left him, the world of light and shadow. His passion for image art led him to a training to become a photographer and soon after he managed a large studio in the city of Lucerne, Switzerland (1986 to 1992). In 1992 he opened his own photo studio with success: among other things for customers like Emmi, Panasonic / Technics, shield fashion, Swiss Olympic, Yamaha, Unilever, Master Food, Eichhof breweryand Nestlé. Simon quickly became asought after specialist for high-Photography. The entries in the prestigious Lürzer's Archive as one of the 200 best photographers worldwide and in the book Best of the Best Photographers of One Eyeland and several awards, among others Silver in this year's Photography Masters Cup prove his success and creativity.

Kim Sokola

is a creative through and through. For 20 years he has been working in the Creative industries, he is a trained Graphic Designer and studied in Hamburg and Amsterdam at the Miami Ad School Art Direction and Copywriting. During his studies abroad he could sniff international advertising air and gain valuable experience. As AD and concept developer he worked across europe for customer as the Eichhof brewery, Unilever, Bank Sarasin, Siemens, Emmi, Migros, Ochsner Sport, Jobwinner, Clariant or Kuoni. He won over 100 awards (ADC, Epica, Midas, One Eyeland, Color Awards, IPA, Moscow Photo Awards, The Prix de la Photographie Paris, ...) and was also selected as one of the 200 best photographers and digital artists worldwide by the renowned magazine Lürzer's Archive. Knowledge also means responsibility, so he gives his expertise further as a speaker, teaches photography at the Zentrum Bildung in Baden, Switzerland and lectured at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts the "Certificates of Advanced Studies" in the field of art direction. Besides photography, Kim is a passionate cook.
